Warlock, an alien creature of the comic book world, first joins the New Mutants under Professor Xavier's tutelage after fleeing his home planet to seek asylum on earth. " His" special powers include shape shifting and the ability to convert material to " techno-organic matter" which he then feeds on. Despite his/her humanoid form and ability to shape shift, this alien/superhero never takes on the definitive form of a male or female.
